Uganda Support Fund
The Uganda Support Fund is a charity set up to help poor people in Uganda, including those affected by HIV. Everyone involved in the charity is a volunteer and all money raised is used to improve improve the quality of life of orphans, destitute families and people living in remote villages. Our first contact with Uganda came in the year 2000 when Clare, then aged 19, went on a GAP year with Africa Venture, teaching in a school in the rural area of Iganga. Clare was there for many months and befriended people in a neighboring orphanage and decided to try and help them with their education and living conditions.
Since then she has returned to Uganda many times, encouraging others to visit the country and support the Charity.
